The 6th Annual Designated Emphasis in Computational and Genomic Biology Group Retreat is open to DE participants, graduate students supported by the Genomics Training Grant, and invited researchers. The Retreat is a blend of academic, social and outdoor activities that foster interdisciplinary communication, stimulate interactions, and enhance collaborations. The Retreat offers oral presentations by trainees and a poster session. Prizes will be awarded for the best posters and oral presentations. The Keynote talk will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. and will be given by Joseph DeRisi, HHMI Investigator and Professor of biochemistry and biophysics at UC San Francisco.
